Daly Waters Pub, Northern Territory

Legend has it that in the 1980’s, a female passenger on a coach bet her driver that if she couldn’t drink a certain number of beers, she would donate her bra to the establishment they drank at.
While that passenger may have lost an undergarment that day, she started a tradition that has led to the Daly Waters Pub holding the largest pub collection of bras in Australia.

Established in 1930, the pub is on the way to nowhere sitting 600 km south of Darwin and 900 km north of Alice Springs, but on your tour of Australian Pubs, this one is a must.
If you’re up for a little adventure on your way, touring via Jabiru will allow you to drive through the famous Australian Kakadu Park which is undoubtedly a once in a lifetime opportunity.
